Because you can enjoy eating bananas not only as a raw fruit
Maybe you´re lucky and can spend time at home cooking sophisticated recipes at home. Unfortunately, a lockdown means for most of the population a moment of austerity. Therefore, we would like to develop a few inexpensive recipes that are also healthy and delicious. Some recipes we hope can help you to save you time and effort at home, a place that currently might has turned into a chaotic little world.
Obviously, as you have probably guessed, our main ingredient will be bananas. Our special ingredient that will be part of a very small list of ingredients.
BananA SmoothiE
Ingredients:
- 1 peeled frozen banana
- 2 tablespoons of cacao* powder (better if it´s made in Ecuador 😉 )
- ⅓ cup of water or milk
Step:
1st Place all the ingredients in a blender or blend them until smooth with a fork.
… And that’s all! Ready to enjoy it.
BananA MoussE
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 ripen avocado
- 1/4 cup raw cacao* powder (as already said, better if it´s from Ecuador
)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Steps:
1st Peel and cube the banana and the avocado.
2nd Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse into smooth, or you can also use a fork to blend all the ingredients until smooth.
3rd Refrigerate to get a more solid consistency.
… And serve & enjoy it!.
BananA PancakE
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 eggs
- A small splash of oil or a small knob of butter
Steps:
1st Smash the ripe banana with a fork.
2nd Whisk the eggs until blended.
3rd In a bowl, mix together the banana and eggs until getting a homogeneous batter.
Steps:
4th Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium-high heat with a teaspoon of oil or a small knob of butter.
5th Ladle some batter into the pan and fry until golden and bubbles rise to the surface. Flip the pancake and fry until golden brown.
… And ready to really nice serve the pancakes!
