Today we show you this sweet recipe made with bananas
As you already know, banana bread is the most famous of the sweets made with our beloved fruit. So, as we have already discovered the banana bread recipe in a previous publication, this time we want to treat you with a new one. And of course, we have decided to choose a cakemade by one of the most reputed cuisines in the world: the Basque cuisine from Spain.
st Make a dry caramel with 60 g sugar. This consists of cooking the caramel giving it only heat, without water. Put the caramel in a saucepan or skillet and heat it slowly. Let it melt slowly until it reaches a golden color. Then we stop cooking (one point before achieving the desired color).
nd Add the banana puree and mix until homogenized.
rd Set aside the previous mixture.
th Mix with a spatula the ointment butter and brown sugar until you get a smooth paste. The butter ointment is achieved by removing the butter from the fridge and leaving it at room temperature until it reaches a cream texture.
th To the previous mixture, add the banana caramel and mix for a minute.
th Add the eggs one at a time and work the dough for two more minutes.
th Pour the sieves dry (the flour and the yeast) and mix in an enveloping way.
th Spread butter and flour in a plumcake mould.
th Remove the excess flour and fill two thirds with the cake dough.
th Place the banana pieces on top.
th Bake at 160ºC for 15-20 minutes.
th Leave to cool and unmold.
th And last but not least … enjoy your well done job!.
